When you are out shooting on sunny summer days, don’t forget to use your digital camera flash. For newcomers to photography this may appear counter intuitive since natural light is abundant. Simply pop up your flash on your digital camera and shoot away for basic results. If you happen to have hotshoe-mounted flasgun then select the Through The Lens (TTL) flash metering setting so your DSLR will take care of the exposure leaving your creative eye free. Try underexposing the background slightly to make your subject jump out from the background and for even mire drama, try using off-camera flash.
