However, it’s important to realize that deliberately engineering the wrong exposure can give scenes and entirely different mood or message, which is a powerful tool in the hands of a creative photographer.
Taking your digital camera out in the rain isn’t for everyone – for most people it is unthinkable as it is quite easy to get your kit damaged in bad weather. There seems little incentive to get out of the house. The trouble is, the digital photography world is awash with shots of fields, lakes and coastlines with piercing sunsets bursting through billowing clouds; at times we remain unmoved by the effect of generic weather. But when everything comes together, hopefully you will have a digital image that will be talked about for a long time.
